Frequently asked questions.
Where are you located?
Muévelo Sport + Spine is apart of a health collective known as FoRM Health PDX. The space is located on the corner of SE 13th Ave and Tacoma St. in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland, Ore. The collective is made up of providers specializing in Orthopedic, Wellness and Aesthetic care.
I’ve been to a chiropractor before and it didn’t work, can you still help me?
Whether you’ve tried chiropractic, physical therapy, massage or acupuncture before don’t let that discourage you. Not all providers approach healing the same. Allow Dr. Paul to take you through a thorough history and examination so he can better help you understand your body and your road to recovery.
I was recently injured, is it too soon to receive treatment?
It’s never too soon to seek care. Dr. Paul would rather see you for your injury sooner to help educate you on the things to do and to avoid. All too often people get injured and patiently wait to get better. However, what they do not realize is they may be doing things on a daily basis that slow or halt the healing process. This is how seemingly simple injuries can last months rather than weeks.
I’m afraid of getting adjusted, can you still help?
Yes! Dr. Paul specializes in utilizing different techniques to help you feel better and move better. One of the main techniques is myofascial release, this involves moving body parts with specific pressure on pressure points to release pain and restore range of motion similar to an adjustment.
I got injured during a car accident, can I see you for these injuries?
Yes! Dr. Paul does well with injuries like these due to his well rounded background in soft tissue treatment and rehabilitation. Don’t let the stress of an unfortunate incident keep you from getting your life back from before the collision. While a motor vehicle collision may require more paperwork, don’t let that discourage you from seeking the care you need.
Do you work with pregnant or post-partum patients?
Yes! Pain and loss of daily function does not have to be a normal part of pregnancy for you. Post-partum care for the mother typically starts at 4 to 6 weeks after birth.
Do you treat children and kids?
Yes! The youngest little movers and groovers Dr. Paul typically sees is 5 to 6 years old.
I saw this thing on TikTok, can you do that to me?
No.
